Cat adoptions fee: $40.00.
Ask about discounted fees for multiple animal adoptions.
Dog adoption fee: $40.00.
In addition, a license must be purchased ($2.50).
Adoption fees includes spaying/neutering, and shots.
Kindly note that an additional $35.00 REFUNDABLE deposit could apply if the animal is underage for spaying/neutering at time of adoption.
Please bring a government-issued ID with you.
Payment must be made by personal check or money order.

We're very excited to announce that we now have some of our favorite Mt. Vernon cats nearby at the Pelham PetSmart available for daily veiwing.

to our program sponsor, Pet Rescue. Please indicate on the memo line that your donation is for the Mount Vernon Animal Shelter.
Funds are used to support our training program; purchase beds, harnesses and other equipment; provide toys and treats; or cover pet meds, or any other unanticipated expense not funded in the city budget. One of our greatest needs is for unanticipated medical expenses. For instance we have many older cats that need dental work, and cats and dogs of all ages have unexpected medical needs just like we humans do.
Please indicate a preference - if any - for your dollars to be used towards "cat care" or "dog care". All donations are greatly appreciated!
